We were supporting the team behind The Goring’s new Instagram strategy recently. As part of my usual grid research, I wanted to identify the most aesthetically pleasing Instagram feeds of all luxury London hotels.

There’s a few! But these are the best, in alphabetical order:

🛎️ 41 Hotel
🛎️ Claridge’s
🛎️ Shangri La The Shard
🛎️ The Lanesborough
🛎️ The Ned
🛎️ The Ritz
🛎️ The Savoy

They all have a clean grid with just the right amount of noise. The colours have a consistent theme and an overall well put together palette.

The content covers carefully selected pillars and branding is strong, but subtle (it doesn’t take much scrolling to know exactly which hotel you’re in, without looking salesy.)

Hats off to the curators behind these accounts. Nice work 👌

A lovely day out with Tina at The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club ⛳️

We were onboarding this fab new client for Poppy PR Derby and collecting content to promote their weddings and golf memberships.

It’s a fantastic venue for a private event, team building, client entertainment etc. and the staff are very friendly. We’ve got lots of exciting digital plans for this destination - watch this space 📲⛳️💍

Today I launched the new hospitality division of Katie King & Co. 🔗

To mark the occasion I’m sharing a round up of some of the most impressive hotels that marketed in the past…

Believe it or not, my favourite type of hotel marketing is that of boutique hotels. I love big luxury resorts, big international teams, low budgets but a currency of a different kind. Small unbranded properties on the other hand give so much scope to tell a story about real people - often families and occasionally second or third generation hoteliers.
