The workshop is done! ✅ Twice as many kids showed up and I was totally overwhelmed—in the best way! 🥰 I was so busy (and a little silly) that I forgot to take any pictures 📸🙈 Huge thanks to everyone who supported me 💕 We had such a lovely time creating together! ✂️✨

Creating a special jinbei for my son again this summer for the Japanese Saturday school festival. It’s hard to find these outside of Japan, so this is my third year making one for him. Combining African and Japanese traditions, I create what I can’t buy.

This years wreath is made by me.
I will add more little bits to make it more louder ❤️Very fun, quick relaxing project.
今年のリースは思いつきでつくることに。まだまだ盛るけど子供が喜ぶがテーマで。ベタだけど意外にゴージャス。松ぼっくりは子供が拾ってくれて一年置いた年期もの。手作りはとにかく楽しい。
