What's your Cost per Show up at your Live event? 🤔
Many people who do live events are obsessed with the cost per lead/registration.⛔
On the surface, getting the least cost per lead seems like a logical thing.
But we all know with the rising competition, the advertisement costs of social media platforms have started to increase & there is not much that can be done about it.😨
The more you scale, the more the cost per lead will increase.
The rising cost per lead affects the profitability of the live event.
I want to suggest focusing more on cost per show-up, as that is more under our control.
If more people show up with the same number of leads, the cost per show-up gets reduced.
For example, you spend $5000 to get 1000 leads for your live event.
👉CASE 1: If only 20% of people show up, 200 people will attend your event
Then the cost per show-up would be $25. (Ad spend $5k/Attendees - 200))
👉CASE2: let's say you were able to increase the show-up rate to 45%
Then 450 people would show up,
Then the cost per show up would be $11 (Ad spend/Attendees)
With a 10% closing rate
In Case 1, we would have 20 buyers.
In case 2, we would have 45 buyers.
Can you see what the profitability of the live event would be?😁
You can only get more people to show up,
➡ If they know, like & trust you.
➡ If they feel heard & they think that you care
➡ They see you as an authority & understand why they should listen to you
➡They feel your personality & how you are different
