To kick off this months theme, I decided to start with a title which incorporates the typography within animation around the 1920-30 era.

Doing this free handed, rather than with a typeface I feel captures more of the vibes of the time, where everything was hand-drawn and imperfections added to the character of the art.

I used to love watching old cartoons when growing up - had 60 Classic Cartoons Dvd Volumes 1 & 2. Some of my favourites from this was Pop-Eye, Felix The Cat.

A tribute to those shows providing me hours of entertainment and to tie into this months release of The Cuphead Show on Netflix, I was inspired to give this style a try for February.

So... here it is! Going into next year I wanted to lose the blue from the brand (Didn't seem to blend well enough for my tastes). After some searching and some experiments, I've finally come up with the colour pallet below!

The mix of 7 colours (3 tones of Orange, 3 tones of Green and white) will now be the main colours of my identity. I feel these give off a very friendly and warm vibe. Does remind me of some retro colour schemes I've seen previously too, which suits me completely!

Would love to hear any thoughts on this!
