5 Stages of Awareness is the level of awareness your customer has about your product before they see your ad for the first time.

๐Ÿ‘Theyโ€™ll allow you to talk to your customers in the way they want to be spoken to.

1 - Unaware - At this stage, they donโ€™t have any pain and donโ€™t need anything right now. They wonโ€™t buy from you.

2 - Pain/problem aware - Your prospect knows that they have a problem, but donโ€™t know how to solve it. First, connect them with their pains, then educate them on solutions, and finally present yours.

3 - Solution aware - Theyโ€™re aware of potential solutions, but arenโ€™t aware of yours. Educate them on the differences that your solution offers compared to your competitors.

4 - Product aware - Your prospect is fully aware of the offers presented by you and your competitors and generally read a lot of reviews. The goal here is to build trust - most of the effort here is to prove that you can deliver what you say you will.

5 - Most aware - They fully know and trust your brand. All they want to know now is โ€œthe dealโ€. Present them with your irresistible offer, and make it so they canโ€™t refuse.

I honestly didnโ€™t intend for any of this to happen.

This situation is a reminder of an extremely powerful law that works when acquiring new customers.

The law of reciprocity: โ€œIf you do something nice for me, Iโ€™ll do something nice for you. I feel obligated to reciprocate.โ€ ๐Ÿค

Reciprocity is deeply embedded in human nature - this helps us and our clients get more leads.

Each of these methods has its unique advantages and limitations.

Referrals are great because they contact you from a past customer. But these leads arenโ€™t predictable, making it not a scalable method.

Traditional ways such as billboards and flyers can only reach those who pass by and take note.

Lead Gen services can help you get a database of prospects quickly and cheaply. But, you and your competitors have paid for the same leads, and then youโ€™re all left fighting it out to win them over.

These methods open to you up to feast and famine cycles.

SEO is an effective way to showcase your website through the main web browsers. Itโ€™s possible to generate some lead flow, but youโ€™re limited to targeting people who are actively searching.

Digital marketing with paid ads is the most predictable way of generating leads. You can reach out to prospects digitally and build trust, automatically.
