Businesses rarely outgrow their systems overnight...usually, it happens gradually.

A few extra clients.
More projects running at once.
More communication.
More information spread across different places.

Then eventually:
• tasks take longer than they should
• follow-up becomes reactive
• visibility reduces
• processes rely too heavily on memory
• manual work starts building up

At My Freelance Admin LTD, we’ve been supporting more businesses recently with:

✔ CRM structure
✔ workflow improvements
✔ operational support
✔ project coordination
✔ specialist business support
✔ reducing operational bottlenecks

Helping businesses create clearer structure behind the scenes as they grow.

Because sustainable growth becomes much easier when everything isn’t relying on memory, inboxes and manual work alone.

Growth often creates operational complexity much faster than businesses expect.

Usually not through one major issue - but through lots of smaller things building up over time:
• repeated admin
• task-switching
• inbox overload
• unclear processes
• information spread across different places
• too much operational knowledge sitting with one person

Individually, none of these things feel particularly heavy. Collectively, though, they can affect capacity, consistency and momentum far more than many businesses realise.

Sometimes the biggest improvements don’t come from doing more.
They come from creating stronger operational foundations behind the scenes.

At My Freelance Admin, we support businesses with operational coordination, process refinement, documentation and day-to-day business support designed to help organisations scale more sustainably.

If your business is starting to feel operationally stretched, get in touch.

Do you know where your money is going - day to day?

On the latest episode of One Thing Wednesday, our director Rachael Bosanquet and Simon Pither discuss a simple but powerful habit: Tracking your daily spend.

Small, consistent awareness often leads to meaningful financial improvements over time.

At My Freelance Admin LTD, we understand the importance of staying in control of both business and personal finances - and how small habits can make a big difference.

Something we talk about a lot within My Freelance Admin is the idea of the “golden zone”.

The work you naturally thrive in. The areas where your strengths, energy and experience are best used.

For many business owners, that’s usually:
• leading the business
• building relationships
• developing ideas
• strategy
• client work
• growth

It’s rarely the constant coordination, inbox management, scheduling and operational follow-up that builds up as businesses grow.

One of the biggest shifts we see in businesses is what happens when the right support is brought in around those areas.

Not just to “offload tasks”, but to make sure the operational side of the business is being handled by people who genuinely work well in that space.

That’s often where businesses become more organised, more consistent and much easier to grow sustainably.

If parts of your business are sitting outside your own golden zone and taking more energy than they should, get in touch.

📢 Important reminder for landlords:

All tenants must receive the new Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet before 31st May.

On the latest episode of One Thing Wednesday, our director Rachael Bosanquet joins Simon Pither to discuss:

👉 what landlords need to do
👉 why records matter
👉 and why you shouldn’t assume someone else has handled it.

Since becoming involved in hosting the team has had increasing conversations with landlords and property professionals who are still unaware of the requirement - or unsure whether it has already been actioned on their behalf.

Key points:
• Don’t rely on assumptions - check with your letting agent if applicable
• Keep evidence that the document was sent
• Store confirmations safely
• Consider digital methods such as email or e-signature tools for easier tracking

The process itself should be straightforward - but keeping good records is essential for protecting yourself later on.

The right room can make a significant difference.

Crawley Property Meet is a focused monthly event bringing together property investors, developers and professionals who are actively working on deals, building portfolios, and supporting others in the process.

We co-host the event alongside Simon Pither from PaTMa and having been involved for the past couple of years, it’s something we’ve seen the value of first-hand.

Next event:
Tuesday 28th April
6:30pm - 9:30pm
Sandman Signature Hotel, Crawley, West Sussex

This month’s session features Colin Hegner speaking on wills and estate planning - including how to structure ownership, protect assets, and plan with greater clarity.

If you’re in the property space, or connected to it, you’re very welcome.

Not every inefficiency in a business is obvious.Often, it’s the tasks that still “work” - but take longer than they should.

A process that’s slightly clunky. A system that hasn’t evolved. A task that takes 30-45 minutes each week.

Individually, they don’t feel urgent. But over time, they impact capacity, consistency, and how easy the business is to manage.

In most cases, improving this doesn’t require a full overhaul.

It starts with:

• Reviewing how the process actually works day to day

• Identifying where time is being lost

• Simplifying where possible

• Making sure systems reflect how the business operates now

Small changes, applied in the right place, can have a meaningful impact.

If your systems haven’t been reviewed in a while, it may be worth taking a step back.
