Sometimes a website just needs a bit of a refresh 💫 Loved getting to update Tagsmart’s site a bit. The world-leading provider of certificates of authenticity for artworks needed the homepage to pop a bit more, so I added:⁣
⁣
🌟 a linked slideshow to the top (with some custom CSS to create a frosted look on hover and match brand colours on arrows/text)⁣
⁣
🌟 an accordion to cut out the text heaviness and make sure the information doesn’t get lost in a see if pale purple, customising the colours to the bold dark blue of the Tagsmart logo and making it pop!⁣
⁣
🌟customised quote block - also matches the logo colour and pops out from the pale background.⁣
⁣
Simple tweaks and a bit of custom css and code injection can just brighten a page and help it step away from being wishy-washy!⁣

𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝗪𝐢𝐬𝐩: 𝘚𝘌𝘖 💻 ⁣⁣

1. Key Words - plant keywords all around your site! In the content, and in SEO titles and descriptions. Help people find your site when they search. 📝⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2. Submit Domain - go to Google Search Console and submit the domain of your website. Google bots would find you eventually, but it doesn’t hurt to be proactive and give them a nudge. Let Google and the rest of the world know you exist! 🔎⁣⁣

3. Site Map - Once you’ve submitted your website to Google, submit your site map. Many sites have the built in by their website host and platform. Try entering your domain and add /sitemap to check. If not, they’re easy to make with online tools (Google will point you in the right direction!) 🗺 ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
4. Links - Make sure your social media accounts all contain links to your website, and if you can, get the link on other websites (your other websites, or those of friends, family and peers). The more connections search engines can make to your domain, the better for your search presence. ⛓ ⁣⁣
