Yesterday , I had the privilege of attending a talk by Charles Rosier, the founder of Augustinus Bader, as he shared his insights. He emphasized the impact of a compelling story in introducing the brand to American journalists. Surprisingly, 90% of them chose to write articles based on the fascinating personal narrative of Professor Augustinus Bader. Charles Rosier highlighted that an engaging story holds more sway than celebrity endorsements.

I recently attended a few networking events and was surprised by how people connect. 99% told me "Let's connect on Instagram." which meant "Follow me on Instagram and check what I'm up to but I will not reciprocate because I will not remember you."
I believe that good connections are beneficial for both parties. However, Instagram is not the best tool for making genuine first connections unless you are Instagram Influencer. I prefer asking for name, email and phone number. This way, I can contact the person directly and continue our conversation. Later, we can connect on Linkedin or follow each other on Instagram. If I follow someone on Instagram at the event, I usually forget their names and handles and don't contact them again.
