The infamous Topshop buyout by ASOS is another nod to online shopping. Brands need to give their consumers an in-store experience, online, without being too salesy.
82% of online content will be video by 2022, and Podcasts are THRIVING. From Reels & Stories, through to TikTok and YouTube, consumers want to see more video content from brands.
Social Media has become a place for shining a light on global issues. 85% of Millennials and 80% of Gen Z rank the environment at the top of their list when choosing brands to engage with, and hand over their hard-earned cash.
Coming back to authenticity, people want to see honest content. They want to be engaged with, educated, and connected with the brand values.
Influencer marketing will continue to soar; macro, micro & niche. If you want to use influencers on a small budget, find niche influencers who posses your perfect target audience.
3 out of 10 consumers use social media to interact directly with a brand. 69% of customers want a fast resolution to a problem. Social gives you access to real-time questions & comments.
