If social media feels like one more job on top of your job, you’re not alone.

As a solo business owner I know how many hats we wear.

But I also know I need social media for my business and marketing. What makes the biggest difference is scheduling and planning posts.

I used to pay for a separate scheduling tool but not anymore Adobe Express has a built in scheduler.

What makes it easier is I create the graphics for the post and send them straight to the scheduler calendar. Then I write the caption, pick a date and I’m done.

The Black Unity Bike Ride was epic as always!

Great to see us taking to the roads of London again… lots of music, joy and smiles along the miles!

👉 Creative Boom · Art & Design London meetup. A treat to meet Ivy Malik - Business Consultant | Sales Strategist | Author in person and chat with her on and off the record 🎤
Got to meet new people we stayed till the end on the sweltering streets of Shoreditch

👉 The London College of Communication and Accelerator pitch awards for 2 students I’ve been coaching. They did do well and proud they got to pitch in front of an audience.

👉 The Freelancer Magazine Club Masterclass meet up. We chatted about our businesses and set accountability action point

When Soph Cross asked if I wanted to be part of it 5 years ago… I said of course. She knows I’m a magazine designer and I love them.

I love designing the brand and everything this magazine stands for know that your precious information doesn’t belong in the gutter but extend all the way to the margins… IYKYK

When you need a quick content idea for your business.

Don’t rely on referrals… get out there and show yourself off… show your personality.

Trust me I know this can be hard. Especially as a 52 year old black woman who has only recently seen how social media can be part of your marketing.

Go on film yourself and tell people what you do…
