Here’s the biggest shift coming to Instagram in 2026:

People want depth again.
But delivered fast.
Not long essays.
Not recycled wellness quotes.
Not “5 tips to…” carousels that say nothing new.

Creators who win in 2026 will do this:

-Short, sharp storytelling
-Fast clarity (what’s the point? say it immediately)
-Opinions over information
-Human connection over perfection
-Personal brand over niche
-Raw over polished

Instagram is moving towards realness that converts, not perfection that performs.

People buy into creators who look like leaders.
People trust accounts that tell the truth.
People stay for content that feels like a conversation, not a lecture.

If you want growth in 2026, focus on:

Emotion.
Originality.
Identity.

And the courage to stand out.

Because the algorithm may change every month…
but human psychology never does.

This year I ran a team of 5, delivered for multiple clients, grew my agency…

all while living in Bali.

And honestly?

It’s the best decision I’ve ever made for my career and creativity.

People think living in Bali means you’re “on holiday.”
But anyone who’s done it knows the truth:

-1am calls
-10pm content approvals
-WiFi battles you must win
-Managing a team across 3 time zones
-Juggling client campaigns from cafés, co-working spaces and airports

Remote work isn’t lazy.

It’s leadership without a physical office.
It’s self-discipline without a manager watching.
It’s showing up (even when the beach is right there)

This year taught me three things:
1. You can build a serious business from anywhere.
Clients care about results, not your postcode.

2. A strong team wins every time.
My team of 5 is spread out, talented, reliable and committed; and together we’ve delivered some of our best work yet.

3. Geography is not a limitation, mindset is.
When you stop asking “Is this possible?” and start asking “How can I make this work?”… everything changes.

I’m proud of what we’ve built.
I’m proud of the trust clients have in us.
And I’m proud of the courage it took to design a life I actually love.

If 2025 has taught me anything, it’s this:
You don’t have to choose between building a business and living your life.

You can do both, beautifully, boldly and on your own terms. ✨
