If search engines cannot (literally) find you, your work and the rest of it do not matter.
Understanding what your audience or the majority of internet users are looking for online, the answers they wish to know, the keywords they use, and the quality of content they want to see pretty much sums up what an SEO is. If you were able to create ALL these, still it will not guarantee that it will rank. And since SEO monitors traffic and user intent, knowing what your audience is looking for will allow you to connect to people the organic way.
Remember, to outrank other sites and beat the algorithm, you have to establish links to authoritative sites like IG, LinkedIn, Twitter, or FB. Then build your brand, and nurture an audience who will help expand your content.
