Campaigns ideas you can use:

- new products launches

- educational content / social proof

- influencers or celebrity partnership

- giveaways

- holiday’s

- bundles

- special offers

- gifting

- current events

Only send 1 campaign a week at the start.

If you see that the open rat, CTR and conversion rate + spam, unsubscribed and bounced rate are good then send 2 campaigns a week.

Repeat it again and send 3.

Only stop until you start to see that your engagement is staring to get affected.

This will give you a rough idea of how many campaigns x week are suitable for your brand.

Quick tip:

Make sure that you always place your filters on your welcome flow or any other flow!

So use Filter: Placed order at least once since starting this flow.

What happens if you don’t do it?

Your emails flows will superimpose over each other, confusing your customer.

Imagine if your audience receives a welcome and post purchase flow at the same time!

They will be confused right?

It might even affect your relantioship with them!

So pay attention before you set up everything.

The most important part of the email?

Your headline.

If people don’t even open your email, what’s the point of sending it!

Always spark interest or give a promise.

Or use some testimonials!

Make it impossible not to read.

And of course it needs to be short, sweet and straight to the point!

What to test:

- Your pop-up offer
- time your form pops off after the customer has started browsing your store

What not to test:

- design and graphics of your pop-up form

Send plain email texts here and then.

They are:

- Simple
- Straight to the point
- Personal

Sometimes they can lead to higher click through-rates compared to a designed email template.

Try it!

That the fun of email marketing🙌

Don’t ask for the email and phone number at the same time when people subscribe to your newsletter.

Just ask either one or the other.

What do you think people will do once they see their need to give their email + phone number?

LEAVE - yes, you read that right!

They don’t want to give away too much info at the same time.

So do this instead…

1) ask for the email

+

2) ask for the phone number

However…

Have a button that says “I DON’T WANT SMS TEXTS”.

This way you’re giving people opportunities to choose from!

And there’s a 63% (research done by SuperInfo blog) chance that people will end up giving you their phone number.

Quick tip on pop-up email forms.

What I see with most of our clients is that they’ve got an email pop-up setter set up for the customer as soon as they come in constant with the store.

Like - why are you doing this?

Do you think people will give you their email even before they know about products and services?

Hell no.

They don’t even know so why are you asking about their info?

Just wait.

Set up your pop-up form for at least 10-15s.

At least now customers do know a little bit about your brand.

And with a cheeky discount code, they might give you their email address.

So don’t make this mistake!

One thing I see the most in people that send email flows, is complaining about not getting open rates and CTR.

Try guessing what they do.

What do you think they do once the customer sign up to their newsletter?

Think hard.

They send a promotional email right off the bat.

And what happens to this email?

Promotional tab “I’m coming”.

People won’t check their prom tab.

Email open rates goes down.

Response rate goes down.

Conversion rate goes down.

And what effect is this gonna have on revenue?

No income will come through their Email marketing.

You might be asking now what’s the cause of it?

It’s simple.

People sign up to your newsletter because of 3 reasons:

1. They want to know more about brand.

2. They want to know more about credibility and testimonials.

3. They want to know the benefits of your products - what problem can they solve?

They don’t want your crappy discount code right at the start.

They don’t know nothing about you! Why would they buy from you?!

And what do you think the solution is?

It’s simple again.

Send a Welcome email rather than a promotional email.

No complications.

No difficulties.

And everyone is happy.

Copywriting rule of thumb in email marketing:

Copy & paste this strategy for valentine holidays!
