Wonderful being part of the 32nd Annual FCS Portfolio Awards Gala last Thursday evening in NYC. Every year it gets better! Congratulations to all the well-deserved winners including our team — A Gold and a Bronze to celebrate 🏆. What a great way to acknowledge creativity, strategy, and talent across financial services marketing and communications.

It was a fantastic evening that allowed us to reconnect with many friends and partners across the industry. Great to attend alongside our amazing tablemates including James Costabile, CAIA, Adam Bell, Alexa Besescheck, Andrew Ceccon, Rebecca Krollman Kniesel, Kevin Hale, Tim Hart, Siobhan Brunton, Andrew Golding, and Bill Moclair.

This year’s International Women's Day 2026 theme is Give To Gain – and it made us reflect: What advice have we received that shaped us and our careers? And what advice would we give other women?

Statistics show that women’s careers are supported less than men’s and that they are underrepresented at every level of the corporate ladder. In 2025, for every 100 men who got promoted, the number of women was only at 93 and 74 (the latter referring to women of colour). Studies also show that fewer entry-level women express their desire to be promoted and that they are less likely to consider opportunities to be fair.*

The systematic imbalance won’t be fixed anytime soon. But we believe it’s important to keep having these conversations and for women to support and encourage each other.

What advice have you received in your career that has stuck with you?

This Christmas we are remembering Mick Winn, a colleague who was dedicated to his work and a friend who enriched our lives with his kindness and big heart. 🧡

In his memory, we went on a 12km walk (and run) along the Thames and raised money for ellenor, the hospice that provided care for Mick and his family.

We are so grateful to everybody who donated and wish you all a Merry Christmas!

We did it! This week, we walked (and ran) 12km in memory of Mick Winn. 🧡

Starting at our office, we walked south of the river, crossed the Thames over Lambeth bridge and then walked north until Tower Bridge, where we crossed again and returned to the office.
