While creating content, some influencers tend to focus more on their personal preferences than on their audience's needs and interests. It appears that many creators are struggling to define their target audience and identify the products that would genuinely resonate with them.

While it is true that these creators might receive high engagement rates, they might not be able to pinpoint their audience accurately. This mismatch between influencers and products is becoming all too common nowadays.

Brands should properly identify their audience first before collaborating with social media content creators. By doing so, they can ensure that their products are being promoted to the right people and potentially increasing sales and revenue.
