"We have no competitors. No one else has thought about this. We are the first ones!"

This belief, however, is as damaging as it is misguided.

If you think your business doesn't have competition, then that is a major problem!

A lack of competition may imply a lack of opportunity. Either no customer need exists, or the opportunity is small and not compelling.

There are just a few reasons why a business may not have competition, and none of them are good.

Reason #1: You’re being overly narrow in your definition of the target market.
Sometimes, our prospective customers weren't looking for exactly what we had to offer. Rather, they were looking for broad solutions to the problems they were having in their company.

If you think your business doesn't have competition, then, that is a major problem! Our view of what constitutes competition.

Reason #2: You’re ahead of the market.
When our product or services didn't fit within the standard set of solutions customers or clients were used to, the sales process was incredibly challenging.

Suggestion: Inform your prospective customers or clients about the issue your business is addressing. With time, the market recognized the need for our product, and competition emerged.

Competition is a form of validation for your product or service, and it should be embraced rather than feared.

Did you find it insightful? What is our game plan for dealing with your new competitor?

When people search, Google's job is to provide them with what they want. To do so, Google needs to know what those searchers are looking for.

To put it another way, the algorithm must determine search intent—that is, why the individual is conducting the search in the first place. 🎯

So, if you want your product to appear in the correct kinds of searches—those conducted by potential purchasers—you'll need to understand Google's process.

👉🏻 Compose your content using its grammar standards, making it clear how to match it with searchers looking for the things you sell.

👉🏻 You won't just get a lot of traffic this way; you'll get the right kind of traffic that will lead to sales today and in the future.

Four Basic Search Intents
As SEOs, we usually divide queries into four basic types of search intent:

✔ Informational-The goal of informational queries is to acquire data. Because they appeal to a wide audience, these searches frequently have the highest search volume.

✔ Commercial Investigation- Quality words ("best," "cheapest," "top"), requests for reviews, locations, or explicit comparisons are common in this type of inquiry.

✔ Transactional- When someone has finished their research and knows what they want to acquire, they frequently have questions.

✔ Navigational- People use queries to help them navigate the Internet. This sort of search combines the brand name with other keywords such as "login" to direct the user to the correct page.

In search rankings, especially for eCommerce, intent is vital.

Ignicious can assist you with assessing your SEO strategy and determining whether your present content is targeted for search intent. To get a customized SEO plan for your eCommerce site, request a free consultation today.

Are you trying to implement some SEO strategy hacks for your website? It might seem like it makes sense at first, and it probably worked at one point, but not anymore.

Yes, there are some traditional hacks and optimization methods out there, but everybody uses them, they won’t make your business stand out.

A lot of people let that frustration win and tried some SEO hacks for a couple of weeks, only to realize that that wasn’t the right direction to take.

What is much better to do?

In planning your SEO strategy, it’s good to let go of these hacks a bit and try to focus more on strategy and resources. Learn about your competitors, your resources, and the strong points you can double down on, and that will put you in a position of competitive advantage.

The Social Web works more like fishing, from the perspective of the fish, than it does target marketing.

Successfully catching a fish is not driven by the need to catch a fish: It’s driven by appealing to the needs and interests of the fish.

To ‘walk in their shoes' or ‘get inside their head’ and know what they are thinking and feeling is your edge in all the competitors, busy studying to become better fishermen.

The connection between social media marketing and social media as applied to business is built around the processes of engagement that lead to collaboration and brand advocacy.

By creating activities that connect to lifestyles, passions, and causes, the brand, product, or service takes on new relevance for the customer.

Your prospect's first visit to your site is the best chance to make him/her a CUSTOMER.

📢 This is how websites design plays a key role in communicating your brand.

📌 Why is web design important for consultancy businesses?

Consulting website is your storefront. It invites in those with whom you would like to work. It is a validator – it’s the place where potential clients go to see that you are what you say you stand for.

Your website design will either attract or turn off that prospect —therefore it's important to create a website that provides a good first impression.

Here are some best practices for your business websites that reach their target audiences and generate more business.

👉🏻 Responsive Design for Optimal Web Viewing. 1. Don’t make them think. Through responsive design, your website adapts to the device — ensuring a better user experience for all involved.

👉🏻 Simple Navigation to Create a User-Friendly Viewing Experience. Your website's navigation should be consistent across all website pages to enable a more intuitive user experience.

👉🏻 Clear Calls to Action, encouraging visitors to contact you.

Take your consulting website to the next level of success!

Let's talk about it! 👇🏻

⚠STOP LOSING SALES! Join the marketing game through videos, and pause your hesitance!

Video is an essential channel for all marketers and essential for any business that wants to make its mark.

Why does every business need to market with the video?

Video marketing statistics abound on the internet, all pointing to the same conclusion: video is the future of marketing.
📌 Hubspot found that 78% of people watch online videos every week, while 54% watch videos every day.
📌 Google’s research shows that 6 out of 10 people would rather watch online videos than television.
📌 YouTube states that its users view more than 1 billion hours of video each day on the platform.

As a result of these breakthroughs, video is now easier to make than ever before and more popular to watch than ever.

But do people want to watch video marketing? 🤔 Turns out they do.

-Hubspot found that 72% of customers would rather learn about a product or service by way of video.
-They also discovered that nearly 50% of internet users look for videos related to a product or service before visiting a store.
-Unbounce found that a video on your landing page can boost your conversion rate by up to 80%.

We hope you find these statistics will guide you through each step of the process, from choosing goals to creating your video, distributing it, and tracking success. Follow us for more!

Are you building a loyal and raving client or is it a “one and done” relationship?

Sometimes, we take our customers for granted, don’t we? We just assume that because they just bought our product or service that they will always continue to buy from us.

Keeping a client does take work and while all of us know this, how often do we practice it?

Here are just a few of the things that go into building loyal clients:

Making your customers feel important is a vital component of this cycle.

How to Make a Client Feel Valued?

1. Set up a customer support team- A well-functioning support team is simple to set up and allows you to allocate customer service to a particular demographic.
2. Thank them- Because your clients are the backbone of any business, be sure to thank them for their patronage. To demonstrate that you value their business, provide them tangible presents such as freebies, discounts, and special deals.
3. Consistency- Give your consumers a fantastic experience right away, and then follow up with even better customer service.
4. Listen to them- Pay attention to what they have to say and reply appropriately.
5. Appeal to the need for convenience- Customers often contact you through whichever means of communication are most convenient for them. Allow them to choose from a range of communication methods.
6. Proactiveness- Customers are less likely to become irritated if they are kept informed about difficulties or delays if they are kept informed.

When you are trying to pitch a client or prospect buyers, and you ask your opening question that they are dying to know more, you are making them reconsider their current social media strategy.

📌 Lead With a Question

Preferably, a question that pushes them to consider their situation in a new light. They'll want to know the answer if the question promises useful information, and they'll stay engaged for the rest of the pitch.

Instead of asking “Are you looking for a way to _____?” which is a commonly used (but very ineffective) question, but a question that hints at important information that they’re missing and makes them reconsider their current social media strategy.
