Chrome has partnered with Ford to reveal the Ford Fathom™, an all-new midsize electric truck revealed through a handcrafted 2D animated film.
Created in a rich, tactile illustration style, the film follows the rhythm of everyday life, flipping through a series of heartwarming moments, journeys and locations, to reveal the truck adapting to its owner's changing needs.
Moving seamlessly from city streets to weekend adventures, the animation brings Ford's vision of a more flexible, versatile electric vehicle to life, with each scene revealing another layer of the Fathom™ story. The film reflects the blueprint behind the vehicle's name: a deep understanding of a new generation of drivers and the many ways they live, work and explore.
This is a milestone moment for Ford: as the first vehicle built on their new Universal Electric Vehicle platform, Fathom™ signals a bold new chapter for electric mobility. Designed to deliver capability without compromise, it combines innovative technology, flexible utility and accessible EV ownership in a package built to support a wide range of modern lifestyles.
