SXSW is known for it’s film screening opportunities as well it’s music + comedy exhibitions, but the brand activations were designed to be just as captivating.

The new season of HBO’s Atlanta was promoted with a trippy ‘Amsterdam style’ cafe. This multi-floor experience offered a psychedelic journey through surreal touch points such as a DJ spinning tunes from the top of an organ, furniture set at jaunty angles and a brand ambassador to work the crowd.

Using a mixture of light blocking, projections, lasers and mirrors to create an immersive, sensory experience.

The idea of this exhibition was to create a borderless world that mimicked the human thought pattern. Thoughts are often ambiguous and intermingle with one another with ease and flow.

Brand experiences that play on emotions and the senses have more impact and more meaning.
