If you’re heading to Stoke Newington, don’t let the construction put you off! Our Stokey locals are still very much open and would love to see you!

The situation is a bit uncertain at the moment. 🧱

What started as Thames Water sewer works has turned into something a little more complicated. After digging, they discovered a large void under part of the pavement, which is why a section has now been closed off. Work can’t continue until it’s been properly investigated, so we’re waiting on updates now.

At the moment, it could mean around 6 weeks of pavement closure, followed by another 4 weeks of roadworks for the sewer repairs!

It’s not ideal, but your local favourites are here, open as usual, and your support means everything while this gets sorted.

Guest pianists will be performing in an informal concert from 3pm till 4pm and the public can book a slot (for £10) to play the piano. Money raised will go towards crucial repairs at the Elizabethan church.

Pop along any time between 2pm and 6pm to listen to the new grand piano! There will be guest performances between 3pm and 4pm. Or if you're a keen pianist and would like to play, book a 10 minute slot below for a donation.

See You in Stokey Presents: Meet at the Grand Piano

We’re so excited to announce this free community event for lovers of music, craft, and connection.

Join us on Saturday 26th April as we raise vital funds for Stoke Newington Old Church and Hackney Foodbank.

From 3pm–4pm, settle in for guest performances from some incredible local pianists.

Following that, we’re opening up the keys to you!

We’ll be releasing 10-minute booking slots in advance for anyone wishing to play. You can sign up on the day if any spots are left, but we highly recommend pre-booking to bag your time on the bench. More info to come!

Bringing the little ones? OutputArt will be hosting a colourful kite-making workshop throughout the entire event to keep all ages inspired. 🪁

Expect a beautiful afternoon in the historic Old Church, with refreshments catered by your favourite Stokey independents.
