As an incredibly exciting future begins to unfold at London City Lionesses, I am grateful to have had the privileged opportunity to work for the club and over the last 4 years serve as a Director.

As I step down, I reflect on the incredible journey so far and the special club that so many individuals have contributed to create. A football club, uniquely and fiercely independent from the mens game, breaking from the norm in the professional era.

I’ll be continuing to cheer for and will be watching with real interest how the new investment drives the club forward.

After the fantastic World Artistic Gymnastics Championships delivered by colleagues in Liverpool, it's Birmingham's turn next to showcase another gymnastics discipline -trampolining, tumbling and DMT.

Spring Brings A New Challenge

I'm never one to shy away from a challenge and life as a consultant certainly brings a few. However, one of the best things I've discovered, is the satisfaction that comes with the challenge of using and transfer your knowledge into new environments, so when the opportunity to work on next year's Trampolining & Tumbling World Championships came along, I jumped at the chance.

It’s been a busy & exciting couple of weeks at London City Lionesses with lots to celebrate

🦁 1st two games of 2022 won 🙌
🦁 6️⃣ points secured
🦁 2nd in the table
🦁 Captain Harley Bennett, was our first player to reach 5️⃣0️⃣ Club appearances
🦁I was joined by friends and family at LCL’s away game against Coventry firmly establishing the Warwickshire branch of supporters club 😉

Next up on Sunday we play Arsenal in the Vitality FA Women’s Cup which will be shown on tBBCBBC Red Button 🔴 at 12:30!

I really get a kick out of working with this great club 😊

My year completed at UK Athletics.

Time to pass on the baton and look for the next sporting adventure.

It's fair to say the last year has thrown up plenty of challenges. Delivering events in a pandemic is certainly not easy, let alone learning all about a new sport that before I'd just watched from the stands or the sofa. I'm very used to working from home but operate in a new environment, remotely....
