EXERCISE TAWANTINSUYU 🇵🇪

In the summer, one of our NCOs, Flight Sergeant Whittlesea, will be joining other cadets and staff in London Wing on a 16 day exercise to Cusco, Peru. During the trip, he will be volunteering in two schools, and visiting incredible sites like Machu Picchu.

“I’m so excited to take part in the exercise, and I’m very grateful for being given the opportunity to take part in an overseas expedition with cadets.”

Take a look at the poster and share your support with FS Whittlesea!

CWO Ferebee 👏

Huge congratulations to 3️⃣2️⃣9️⃣’s newly promoted Cadet Warrant Officer Ferebee!! 🥳

CWO is the highest rank you can achieve as a cadet within RAFAC - a remarkable milestone. At just 17 years old, Ferebee has reached this level through dedication, leadership, and deep knowledge of all things Air Cadets. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to the squadron.💪

March was a busy one for the squadron — but we loved every second!

From leadership, putting in the miles on road marches 🥾, band practice 🥁, exploring innovation through STEM and cyber 🙇‍♀️, and gaining insight from an armed response team visit 🚔— we’ve had a month full of growth, challenge, and achievement.

A huge well done to our cadets and new recruits who are flying through the progressive training syllabus 👏 — so many badges awarded this month and all well deserved!

Challenging? Absolutely.
Fun? Even more so.
It’s been full-on, fun, and definitely challenging, but the squadron has risen to every occasion. 💪

Time flies, doesn’t it? 🥳

We bid a fond farewell to CWO Aziz Bambie as he ages out after five remarkable years as a Cadet. Joining the organization in 2019 at 444 Squadron and later becoming a pivotal member of 329 Squadron, CWO Bambie has achieved what few others have.

As the first Cadet Warrant Officer the Squadron has had in over a decade, CWO Bambie set an exceptional standard for excellence, dedication, and leadership. Over the years, he has achieved incredible milestones, including serving as a Deputy Lieutenant’s Cadet, representing LW at the Menin Gate in Belgium, completing his RMTL qualification, and forming a squadron band (and then achieving 3rd place six weeks later at Wing Field Day!) — to name just a few. CWO Bambie has sought to take part in almost all activities available to him, and in summer of 2023 even managed to be away every single week on a cadet activity!

In addition to his own achievements, CWO Bambie has been instrumental in developing the NCO team, helping them grow into the best versions of themselves, and no matter the task or challenge, he has done it all with a smile, bringing positivity and energy to everyone around him.

His journey has been nothing short of inspirational to cadets and staff alike; the squadron is grateful for his contributions, leadership, and unwavering commitment. We are excited to see CWO Bambie transition into the staff team, where he will no doubt continue to make a positive impact.

Thank you, CWO Aziz Bambie, for everything you have done for 329 Squadron and the wider RAF Air Cadets.

🇧🇪Menin Gate Memorial 🪖

The Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres honors over 54,000 British and Commonwealth soldiers who died in World War I and have no known grave, with a nightly tribute known as the Last Post Ceremony.🪦

CW0 Bambie had the great honour of attending the Menin Gate Memorial alongside other cadets from across . The visit included exploring numerous memorials, attending several parades, providing a guard of honour, and even enjoying some famous Belgian waffles.

Thank you for this great opportunity!!
