It is an interesting tool with a lot of potential!
At the moment, in my opinion, its the best to use it to communicate with the people you work together on Instagram such as partnerships or joined shout outs.

If you haven’t previously heard of Workplace or Portal, you aren’t alone. The two products are among the newer pieces of Facebook’s portfolio. So from now on people who own a Portal and use Workplace in the office will be able to combine the two to make video calls to colleagues.

Facebook said that its Workplace service for businesses will now work on Portal video chat devices.
