📣 l, designed for primary school aged girls and their families (including brothers), is taking place on Sat 18th and Sun 19th October in Islington.

Being a girl today still comes with so many unspoken pressures, and we want to flip that narrative to show them that their voice matters, their passions are valid, and their future is limitless 🌈

🤩 At the festival girls will have the opportunity to try different activities ranging from engineering to gaming, sports to aviation, experiments to activism, production to sustainability, politics to friendships, banking to farming and much more. With a SEND session (Saturday morning) and pay-what-you-can option we don’t want anyone to miss out.

🎶 The power of events and music is just, well… powerful!
🤩I had the pleasure (and honour) of attending , and gig at Gunnersbury Park, yesterday. Not only did I get to rock my socks off (too hot for for socks actually, but let’s go with it), but I did it with friends, family and strangers.
🙏 It was special and epic in equal measures - just the escapism we needed. Events and music bring people together, it’s what humans need, to be connected and to love.
🤪We took our 21 month old daughter after a major childcare plot twist nearly stopped us from enjoying this opportunity - ⚠️ she wore 🎧 and spent most of her time loving the welcoming, safe, family vibe backstage. We were lucky enough to know some crew and artist teams so we could take a photo of Poppy on the Main Stage; I can’t wait to show her when she’s older, a memory for her too. Even on egress, as we trekked to the opposite side of the site, among 30k people, we had no trouble, not one little problem. Even the Security Team across site and down to the station were singing along with the happy crowd. It felt like harmony.
🫶The power of music and events did that. I went to sleep smiling, aching and croaky, but smiling. We truly are in the emotions business and creating memories is a very special thing to do.
🙏Thank you to every single person in the Music and Events ecosystem; artists, managers, promoters, ticketing, production, stage crew security, fans, vendors, merch, mentoring platforms, labels, runners, catering and everyone in between because it takes a village to make that sort of magic happen 🪄 👏. 🐧

🏆 I am still speechless, humbled and proud to have been shortlisted and Highly Commended at The Fast Forward 15 inaugural Awards at The Mermaid London.

🌟 Thank you for having me (including the entire village who made this event happen, not to mention the legends who run and participate in the programme year-on-year), to quote Fay Sharpe OBE; “These Awards recognised the people and organisations who give back—not for profit or personal gain, but because they believe in investing their time in others.” I am so passionate about investing in the events and hospitality industry, and most importantly, our future.

💜 A heartfelt thank you to the brilliant Sammy Connell, my original Mentee from the powerful programme, for her nomination and continued success and energy. I couldn’t have been prouder to see yourself and Sophie Tanner on stage. Also, thank you to the community for being your wonderful, welcoming selves and cheering us on from the front tables - such fun!

I’m thrilled to be an mentor again this year, thank you for having me. This pioneering six-month programme provides mentoring and helps massively when it comes to building community within the events industry.

Thank you so much for having me - I was welcomed and could tell immediately that the venue culture is one of empowerment, collaboration and warmth. In terms of inclusivity, this wonderful client ensured my fee included childcare for my 11 month old daughter; 🤩👏 - how is that for symbiotic empowerment and a confidence boost?
🐧 This Fuel For Success workshop is a confidence-boosting, public speaking and wellness cocktail and was well-received, even the whacky exercises!

🐧Ace of Flippers... Working title. Any better suggestions/card-penguin puns for this new suit which I’ve designed?
My confidence-boosting workshops are in full swing and these playful Chatty Penguin cards are making people smile - one of my favourite things to do! Carefully curating the workshops to meet company objectives and individual needs is really rewarding and keeps me on my toes, ever-evolving like penguins do. Some of the exercises are a staple of each one and deliver on what I promise each client; a fun, meaningful and unique experience. Whilst the online course is great for individuals and means people have their own privacy to invest in themselves, the workshops are a brilliant way to work with corporate groups, in person. Thank you for all of the enquiries into the course and the workshops. I know many people have been holding off until Pay Day to invest in themselves, and it’s finally here (or nearly here for some)!
