So back in 2018, me and my Dad went on a road trip from the North West of England, all the way to Southern Morocco. We had no plan other than we wanted to go anywhere the sun was (it was Sep - Dec). The spontaneity of it all was a huge reason why we found ourselves in some of the strangest and funniest situations.
Besides the good times, we learnt so much of French, Spanish, Portuguese and especially Moroccan culture, Berber culture etc; learnt bits of languages, foods and traditions. We met friends and people who helped us out and made the trip so much more interesting.
I promised my Dad that I’d compile all of the photos and create a book for his next birthday. Anyways, I didn’t get round to it, then Covid got in the way and I missed Christmas and 2 of his birthdays.
But FINALLY, after a month of organising thousands of photos and laying them out in date order, writing memoirs and drawing sketches to accompany them, I had this big bitch printed 🥵
Weighing in at a whopping 385 pages, this thing is heavier than me, and these spreads are literally nothing compared to how much stuff is in here.
I’m sure this book will be in our family for a long long time and will hopefully inspire future adventures ✌🏻
