We have some extremely exciting news to share!

Our 2022 Sportacular campaign for BBC Children in Need/One Stop has been short-listed for a prestigious UK Licensing Award in the category of Best Sustainable Licensed Campaign.

In addition to developing all creative, we wrote, produced and funded a “how it’s made” video (linked below), with several associated Social Media animations, which tell the story of how Pudsey & Blush collectibles made from recycled car and fridge parts, were manufactured here in the UK in a circular economy factory with zero waste.

We continue to support One Stop through 2023 and are proud and thrilled to be finalists in the awards, amongst such distinguished competition.

Today we would like to introduce you to Tennis Blush.

Working closely with BBC Children in Need, we designed all the product and packaging artwork for the brilliant Sportacular Collectibles.

All the collectibles are individually bagged using a very clever flow wrapping machine. The pre-printed film roll is fed through the machine and stays open until a character is dropped in. The machine then seals the bag, ready for packing into display boxes.

Because BBC Children in Need care about sustainability and the environment, the Sportacular Collectibles are made from old fridge and car parts, right here in the UK.

Tiny recycled granules are fed into a machine where the mould creates 32 characters at a time. A robot then prints them and cleverly removes all the excess material, to be recycled once again so there is never any waste.

Did you know that BBC Children in Need has raised over £1 BILLION since its' annual fundraiser began in 1980. Louis Kennedy’s contribution is evidenced by both the long-standing partnerships and development of innovative Pudsey Bear campaigns.

This year we’re excited to announce that we’ve created these brilliant Sportacular Collectibles which are landing in One Stop stores across the UK this week.

We developed the concept, managed the design, procurement and partnership and also wrote and produced a fun video showing how they were made which was narrated by the fantastic Matt Lucas
