Happy Valentine's Day 💋

We really appreciate businesses that come up with innovative ways to help preserve our planet. We also believe in acceptance for everyone, even the more "oddly" shaped fruit and veg among us, however dating apps can be tough to navigate in this modern world if you don't look or act the same as everyone else... Trust me, dear reader, we know!

So for this Valentine's Day, we put our creative heads together and came up with this concept for one of our fave sustainable superheroes: Oddbox. We hope you like it, and have a tasty Valentine's Day x

Well I'll be damned, it's time for !

Introducing our new social media guru: Jack Lynskey! Jack is the Irish charm of the Troupe. Ambitious, hard-working and fiercely creative, Jack is a musician and marketer who was born and raised in Dublin. He studied Commercial Modern Music at BIMM Dublin, specialising in songwriting. After travelling to New York City to develop his professional skills at a marketing internship, Jack began releasing his own music professionally on his return to Dublin under the name Jack Rua. Jack established himself as a prominent name on the Irish music scene, releasing a critically acclaimed glam-pop mini album in 2020 called ‘Narcissus’ which discussed his coming-of-age as a q***r person through vibrant dance music. It charted in the top 5 of the Irish iTunes albums charts and amassed over 150,000 streams.

Through his musical endeavours, Jack realised that he not only had the creativity to conceptualise music videos, photoshoots and musical/live concepts, he also had the diligence and work ethic to execute and market them effectively. To enhance these skills, Jack studied a masters with the Digital Marketing Institute before moving to London and joining ONQOR, the perfect playground for him to develop and utilise his unique skills and ambitions.

And if you're wondering, yes. Jack is the new Social Media Executive, so therefore he is currently writing the copy for his own introductory post. Art is alive, nothing is real. Have a good weekend x

It’s been a big year for our client Avallen Spirits - more growth and more CO2 out the atmosphere and into their orchards in France.

Guess who the media team paid a little visit to...*drum roll* Caro, our incredible graphic designer and mood board queen.

Caro loves all things creative, and can always be relied on for a fresh idea. She feels most zen and in the zone when surrounded by flowers and plants (though she always seems to have Beyonce playing in the background).

Wednesday 9:00 a.m.

We set off on our Christmas Dinner Drive with two Zip Vans, £2,500, and one hell of a shopping list!Our itinerary said we’d be finished by 3 p.m. However our itinerary was rather optimistic. So optimistic in fact that we actually only finished yesterday!There were laughs, tears, one missing van, two family-sized pizzas and a LOT of traffic.But despite the ups and downs, the A12 and the pizza coma, we managed to deliver two vans loads of food, clothing and sanitary products to four food banks across London. Thank you so much to everyone that supported us, donated, and followed our journey on Instagram.

Last night we received a surprise donation for our food bank from the at ONQOR Group.

Instead of having a Christmas party, they decided to ! This donation will make a huge difference & we can't thank them enough for their kindness and generosity 🙌

Today is the day!

The team are about to set off to the wholesalers. We will be stopping at food banks across London, including Hackney Foodbank, Castle Haven, Dads House and The Manna Society. It’s going to be a busy day but one which we’re hoping brings some real positivity and comfort ❤️

Next Wednesday will be the ONQOR Christmas Dinner Drive.

The team will be volunteering their work time to collect food from Costco and delivering to food banks across the city.

The food banks we will be visiting are Castle Haven, Dads House, The Manna Society and Hackney Food Bank.

We decided to scale back our Christmas party this year. Using the bulk of our party budget to buy food for food banks, we opted for a quieter and cosier Christmas dinner at the office.

Little did we know, a couple of our team members turned out to be incredible chefs (Mat and Luke)! From cheese boards and oysters, we had it all. We also managed to squeeze in Secret Santa, a (rather difficult) quiz and karaoke to round it off ❤️

Didn’t turn out to be so quiet after all...👀

FRESH FACE FRIDAY 👋

Meet Marco, our newest Front-End Developer. Originally from Italy, Marco graduated from graphic design initially working as a 3D designer.

Marco decided to move to London, where his interest in tech was born. During the lockdown, he devoted his free time to studying and participating in coding boot camps, before going full-time as a Javascript Front-End Developer.

Like many of the team, Marco loves to travel, in particular South-East Asia. He also enjoys swimming, gyming and studying new programming languages (practice makes perfect right).
