We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js to join our team and contribute to the development of WiiMeet, a cutting-edge social networking platform and dating app.
*Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side APIs, services for WiiMeet.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with the user interface.
- Implement robust security measures to protect user data and ensure the platform's integrity.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and - reliability to handle increasing user traffic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and enhancements.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code and smooth functionality.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
*Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, preferably with expertise in building scalable web applications or social networking platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js backend programming language.
- Experience with server-side frameworks and technologies (e.g., Express.js).
- Proficiency in database management systems like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with WebRTC and the ability to integrate it.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
