Remember Gap?! 👀

Saw this dress in the window, popped in, tried it on.
But the changing room was so tiny I had to step outside for the full view.

Cue an unexpected panel of lovely women I’d never met giving their verdict 🤣

And this is why shopping can actually be fun — sometimes you just need another pair of eyes (even if they belong to complete strangers in a changing room corridor).

They said yes. I said yes. Dress came home with me 😂

A quick “what I’m wearing” before rushing out the door: the gorgeous Pippa dress by for their 20th anniversary celebrations.

And this is your little reminder… don’t save your favourite pieces for one version of an outfit.

This dress is also coming to Ascot with me next week 🏇 but tonight I wanted to make it feel a little more relaxed - so it was cowboy boots, a preloved khaki jacket and a little bit of gold sparkle ✨

Huge congratulations to Lucy and the whole team on 20 years.

I featured Lucy as part of my International Women’s Day series earlier this year and it’s been amazing to see how Aspiga continues to grow and evolve - while staying true to its values around people, planet and sustainability 🌎

When I met last year I complimented her on her fabulous hair.
She said it was all down to the L-shaped curling wand from - “so easy” apparently!

It went straight on my Christmas list and hooray it really is that easy.

A few quick waves, let it cool, done.

These little things - hair, earrings, lipstick - always make you feel a bit more put together ✨(or a bit more Chloe in my case!)

Bought this skirt at Christmas because I absolutely loved it… and then proceeded to not wear it for the next 6 months 😬

Every time I put it on, it just felt a bit TOO much: too dressed up, too “occasion”, too OOMPHY 😂

So instead of trying to style it UP…
I took the oomph out of it a bit:
Oversized tee.
Messy tuck.
Chunky jewellery.
Black trainers.
Raffia bag.

And now it feels like something I’ll actually wear.

Honestly, so many unworn pieces in our wardrobes don’t need replacing.

They just need bringing back down to earth a bit 😉

“I’m really nervous…”
Probably the most common sentence said before a brand shoot 📸
And yes - standing in front of a camera trying to look like “you but professional” feels a very weird thing to do…

But styling this photo shoot was such a brilliant reminder that the clothes are only one part of it.
We had planned the outfits - and discussed colours, shapes, layers, sleeves, jewellery (it’s all about the details 😉)

But actually it was about helping Kath feel like Kath.
Confident. Approachable. Professional. Herself.
And she actually relaxed, laughed and admitted she was enjoying herself - hooray 🙌

A huge shoutout to Maddy who is an absolute dream to work with. I knew we’d be a good team after she photographed my International Women’s Day series earlier this year. And I was right 😍

Women supporting women at its best.

Can’t wait to see Kath’s new Insight Nutrition website come together. These photos are going to be gorgeous.

“Women supporting women”

I said it on stage during my talk (Confidence in Midlife: Through a Hard Working Wardrobe) at Midlife Mayhem retreat, but this photo probably shows it better than anything I said.

A weekend full of brilliant women sharing their expertise, experiences and encouragement.

Different topics but all with the same goal- helping women feel better, stronger and more confident.

It was a privilege to be invited to be a part of it 🥰

You just need to know how to build an outfit.

A belt.
Better proportions.
A layer.
Accessories.
A bit of intention.

That’s what takes clothes from “threw it on” to “styled it up”.

And it doesn’t even take very long.

One of my favourite things about this job now?
Getting out and meeting brilliant women doing creative things 🤍

Popped into the gorgeous X pop up (if you’re on the Kings Road in London do go!) - and could have brought half the shop home with me!

Beautiful colours, fabrics, jewellery - and such lovely people too.

Rae was part of my International Women’s Day series earlier this year - alongside some other incredible female-founded brands - so it was especially lovely to properly meet her in real life and say thank you for being so supportive.

There’s something really special about women supporting women in business. Especially when everyone is genuinely lovely too🤩
