It picked up Best Social Media Campaign at the Recruitment Marketing Awards last year, and more importantly, laid the groundwork for a more representative future for women in tech at BT Group. 👏

When leisure company Mitchells & Butlers PLC launched a new internal talent platform, they asked Blackbridge for advice.

Our response was a character called Tams. He wasn’t just a personality. He was also a behavioural lever. He made the new system feel safe, aided memorability and reflected cultural values. Having met Tams, 85% of users returned to the platform.

The Tams campaign won the Employee Engagement category at the 2026 Rad Awards.

Here’s what stood out from our recent event with LinkedIn. The theme was what AI means for trust in employer branding. Blackbridge directors Andrew Baird and Ben Fox shared where that trust really takes shape and where it quietly falls apart.

One: Alignment matters. Don’t just tell a story. Tell the same story everywhere.
Two: Empower employees to speak in their own voices, not ChatGPT’s.
Three: Be clear with candidates about the roles AI and humans play throughout the candidate journey.
Four: Authenticity is worthless unless you’re also encouraging talent to apply.
Five: The goal isn’t to broadcast. It’s to have a conversation.
