I’ve been talking to many people learning Google Ads, and a lot of them already have their Google Ads certifications. 😃

So, is the certification a real measure of skill or just a formality?

Stop Running Google Ads!

If you don't have enough budget, stop running Google Ads.

Last month, I spoke with 17 clients. Out of those, 6 clients didn't have enough budget for Google Ads.

However, they still wanted to run ads and had already spent around $3,000-$4,000 on Google Ads.

For example, I talked to two clients who were running Google Ads with a $25 daily budget. They were in the roofing service industry.

Getting good results with $25 a day is impossible because roofing services are a highly competitive niche and the cost per click is very high.

That's why they were only getting 3-5 clicks per day.

It's almost impossible to test ad campaigns with this budget.

Before running Google ads, make a proper plan that can help you to grow your business.

Google Ads unveils major updates to search query matching.

The Google Ads updates offer advertisers enhanced AI-powered performance, greater brand control and improved visibility into search queries.

Key updates.

1. New recommendation for brand inclusions in broad match.
2. Brand exclusions across all match types and Dynamic Search Ads.
3. Improved visibility in search term reports. Misspelled search queries are now reported with the correctly spelled search query.
This means that, on average, 9% of search terms previously under “Other” due to misspellings in the search terms report are now visible.
4. Easier blocking of misspelled searches. All the misspellings of one word will be included in an exclusion when just that one word is added as negative.
