Today, we are shining a spotlight on Fabiana Nicoli, a Marine Conservationist and Assistant Base Leader at DivePoint Maldives at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu

Fabiana is a trailblazing female marine conservationist who has undertaken several initiatives, including coral reef restoration, underwater ecological monitoring and tracking coral bleaching, Advanced 3D reef modelling, marine mentoring and education for guests and local communities, and Benthic and pelagic population surveys and studies

Fabiana is developing a coral restoration project proposal for submission to the Maldivian government for Adaaran Select Meedhupparu

Tomorrow is World Ocean Day, and we are celebrating Yaniu Raoof, the Maldivian dive professional and conservation advocate at Heritance Aarah!

Yaniu has dedicated his career to furthering the research on marine conservation. A qualified marine biologist, she has taken part in manta ray and coral research, has been affiliated with the Manta Trust, and has a clear understanding of the marine ecosystems that sustain the Maldives' tourism economy
