Chocolate Films is a South London based film production company and social enterprise. We specialise in making documentaries for broadcasters, charities and arts organisations. We also offer a range of production services including promotional, restoration and event films.

The secret is out! Over the last year we worked with the National Archive to produce a series of exhibition films, exploring and uncovering the intricacies of working for MI5 📰

From interviewing key figures in the operation and documentation of MI5’s work, to bringing the history to live via archive animation, it was a privilege to be involved.

Check out two short snippets from the exhibition, from Official MI5 Historian Christopher Andrew, and our film exploring ‘The World Outside.’ 🌍

To round up our 12 days of Christmas, in DECEMBER our Saturday Studio participants completed their 10 week workshop programme, and we hosted a screening in our of the wonderful projects they created 🖼️🎭

The programme enabled young creatives aged 8–13 to develop new skills, gain hands-on experience, and have a fantastic time exploring filmmaking and animation 🎥🎨

In SEPTEMBER we collaborated with to create a campaign video celebrating a decade of empowering communities, and making physical activity accessible for all ⛹🏾‍♀️🤽🏼‍♀️🧘🏽‍♂️

With an energetic script involving a range of dynamic scenes, we worked with a range of actors to showcase the human stories at the heart of London Sport’s work 🎾

The result is a vibrant, inspiring film that captures the essence of their mission: to make London the most active city in the world 🌳🌍
