The Plant is very pleased and proud to become a certified B Corporation®. It follows more than a year of hard work, and reaffirms our commitment to achieving higher standards of social and environmental impact. We've written a summary of how this will affect our business and approach.

So, our road to B Corp has finally ended, and in late November we became a Certified B Corporation®. It’s taken almost 2 years for us to get here, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone's input to make this happen.

We also created a series of expressions for the hotel, inspired by American Author Damon Runyon and his unique writing style. Archive photographs are combined with comical captions in speech bubbles in order to bring characters to life.

The Hotel Brooklyn identity is built with a whole series of connecting pieces and logos, including the idiosyncratic contraction for Brooklyn — BKLYN, which is used for merchandise and signage throughout the site.
