We asked one of our videographers, Ollie, to share some insight into the most common errors in lighting techniques💡

Here’s what he had to say:

1️⃣ Avoid drowning your scene in too much light, as it washes away those crucial details. It's all about finding the right balance.

2️⃣ Opt instead for soft light, which embraces the natural contours of your subject, casting flattering shadows and preserving those defining features.

3️⃣ By utilising flags, you can sculpt your scene, adding depth and contrast for a truly cinematic touch.
