Shell is working closely with shipping companies around the world to improve the health and safety culture in the maritime industry.

❌ The Challenge
Mariners work in extremely challenging environments which has a serve impact on wellbeing.

✅ The Solution
We supported Shell by developing 2 short films from the view points of the crew members and the CEOs. We received nearly 500 user generated videos and audio content from crew members on vessels and interviewed 8 CEOs from some of Shell’s partner shipping companies.

The Youth Marketing Strategy 2022 Event was informative and inspirational. Great speakers, delegates and exhibitors. All in all excellent food for thought and some mind blowing facts.

This month we're celebrating our 26th year anniversary! Congratulations to Dawson and everyone at Dawson Walker Communications and thank you to our wonderful clients for the amazing and diverse projects we've worked on through those years.

We're also celebrating our brilliant partner Disha Communications's "coral" (35th) year anniversary (we've known them for 16 of those years which also matches Duraibabu Devarajan years' of service at Disha).

🚨The aim of this day is to raise awareness of violence and discrimination against gay, bi, le***an, trans and q***r (LGBTQ+) people to drive positive change.

✊There’s still a long way to go but we at Dawson Walker fully support the LGBTQ+ community.

💚We’re celebrating World Health Day this week which takes place on 7th May 2022. The aim this year is “our planet, our home.”

🌍 The World Health Organization (WHO) highlights the need to keep humans and the planet healthy and foster a movement to create societies focused on well-being.

🩺At Dawson Walker, we're strong advocates for this.

🚶Last month we created an internal challenge for our employees to walk 5,000 steps per day. It was a fun activity to do together with some friendly competition. The winner was Adam Winterton.

🌎 Today is Earth Day and we want to be more accountable for our actions.

💚We need to invest in our planet, and so as a team, we’ve decided that throughout the year we will undertake new initiatives that help to make a positive impact for our beautiful Earth.

🧹For our very first initiative we’ve voted for a ‘Clean Up Day’, the idea will be to remove rubbish in neighbourhoods, parks, streets and beaches.

🐢We want a greener, healthier and cleaner planet. Let’s make a positive impact together, not just for one day but every day.
