When ABM pitched for Milk they also pitched for cheese. The National Dairy Council wanted the agency to win something - though the intention it would be milk but we couldn't have both.
Anyway DMB&B was awarded cheese. This was their campaign- albeit a later ex*****on. A rather weak, faux ABM pastiche.

The cozy London advertising business was shocked when the upstarts Saatchi & Saatchi took over the #1 spot from the venerable JWT in 1980. But ABM was also doing well as the article mentions. In their different ways, both agencies would have a significant impact on the industry across the first half of the decade.
