Belfast Design Week is back from 01-07 May

“Season” heralds a new chapter for Belfast Design Week, a time of renewal growth and transformation. After years of gathering in November, the festival is shifting to a brighter moment of the year. As spring approaches summer inspiration feels fresh and the air is filled with possibilities. This season is one of emergence: ideas people and possibilities. It’s a time when students and emerging designers share their work with the world for the first time nature begins to bloom and the rhythm of the city and its creative community shifts.

Our new Belfast Design Week mark responds to this year’s theme of “Season” and recognising creativity as cyclical and shaped by time.

At its centre, ideas begin and conversations spark. From there, forms radiate outward, expanding through collaboration, debate and shared energy.

Each extension represents a distinct discipline connected to a common core, reflecting the city’s multi-disciplinary design community.

Rather than a static symbol, the mark operates as a dynamic system, expanding, contracting and evolving with the momentum of the festival.
