What I wore for my son’s Holy Communion…

Nothing new, nothing blue, everything old.

I had other ideas for my outfit, but the British Weather sc**** up my plans! 😬 Eventually, I decided to go for this pink suit from combined with the lace top from , and finish the look with the Marella Muse bag, and golden shoes from - one of the very few heels I can wear these days!

I think overall the outfit worked well. And it felt good to rewear old items that, truth be told, I’ve worn very little - so we’re practically like new!

As for my son, I also went for something preloved and bought this suit on Vinted (and now will resell it too) because he won’t wear it again, so I really didn’t see the reason for buying new suit for him. It fitted perfectly and
he looked so smart! 😻 I decided to add a casual touch, though, with the Stanley Smith instead of classic shoes (which again he wouldn’t wear again!).

Lastly, for my make-up, I opted for pink shades, using both eyeshadows and lipstick+lipliner from Charlotte Tilbury, and pink liquid blush from . The foundation is from

I just had a fabulous personal shopping session! 🛍️

One single store, one single brand! When I met my client I felt like this would be a great fit for her - and I’m happy to say I was right!

We managed to find everything in there, from dresses to suits and tops, making sure we could mix and match everything with ease.
We also added a leather jacket, which was an expensive extra to the list, but worked well on so many items and proved to be so versatile, that she saw the value in it!

Also, very importantly, no black tops/jackets! But navy, camel, cream and aubergine! All colours from her palette.

The cherry on top was the digital wardrobe app, where my client very diligently uploaded her existing pieces before this appointment, so we could check that we didn’t overlap anything. It was a great help in the final decision making process!

Shopping for us is not just about buying more, it’s about buying better and more intentionally! Making sure that all you buy has a purpose and multiple uses.
