B2B marketing has been adept at optimising campaign efficiency. Research by US-based Brandworks University a couple of years ago highlighted the prolific rise comms output across all forms of marketing in the US at the rate of 35% y/y, across all channels. But, the actual effectiveness of all this content is not so impressive. Registering engagement at an alarming, less than impressive 17% y/y, across all channels. Clearly, efficiency alone is not the answer. Prioritising on effectiveness first - strategy, message, delivery, then measurement, will help to improve the overall performance of your campaigns and achieve the commercial success you desire.
