How designs are priced...

There's much more to design than the final pretty picture. Below is a good breakdown and justification of costs.

Unless you want generic design, there's a lot of background research that goes into custom creations. There's finding the right font and pictures, competitor analysis and background research. That's before the design is even started.

So, while a design seems simple when it's complete, the time it takes to get to that end result is filled with research and hard work.

Everyone's hourly rate is different according to their skill set and experience, but now you can appreciate that if you get a decent logo for £20 bucks, you're getting one hell of a deal.
