The last two weeks have been full of B-roll, mic checks and great content for the gt&i team. 🎥

Our Creative Director, Glen Tarr, and Henry headed to Swindon to visit Cotmarsh Tannery CIC filming at a Micro Tannery conference, where they reconnected with one of our friends at British Pasture Leather, Alice V. Robinson, author of Field, Fork, Fashion. From conference discussions to conversations on regenerative farming and responsible material sourcing, there was no shortage of stories to tell.

Back in the office, Abbey and Kareemah have been busy collecting interviews from some of the most respected voices in the leather industry for an exciting educational project currently in production. We’ve had the privilege of speaking with fashion designer .studio, Deborah Taylor (Managing Director at the Sustainable Leather Foundation), and Inge Flowers (Programme Manager at the Institute for Data Integrity), capturing insights that we’ll be sharing soon.

Meanwhile, Iris and Greg headed to Copenhagen, Denmark, taking Only Natural Design beyond London for the very first time. Exhibiting at Material Matters Copenhagen as part of 3daysofdesign, they showcased a capsule collection of winning student designs - putting natural materials at the heart of one of Europe’s most influential design festivals.

From farms and conferences to international design festivals, it’s been a fantastic couple of weeks of filming, learning and creating. With a packed summer schedule ahead, there’s plenty more to come.

A huge congratulations to our own Henry who successfully summited Mont Blanc (4,805.59m) on Saturday in support of the Tendi Sherpa Foundation Tendi Sherpa Foundation Nepal

The foundation works to improve education, healthcare and opportunities for Sherpa communities in Nepal, helping to create lasting positive change in some of the world’s most remote mountain regions.

The climb demanded serious technical mountaineering skills, including crevasse crossings, exposed ridge scrambling and navigating challenging alpine terrain at high altitude. Alongside the ascent, was also documenting the expedition for Moncler, with photography from the trip set to feature in Vogue France.

An incredible achievement both on and off the mountain. 👏🏔️📸

The past few months at gt&i have been a whirlwind!

From the tallest building in Taipei to Baltimore to snowy London, from the Bank of England to the pub (naturally), the team has been here, there and everywhere.

Now we’re back in the office after a well-earned Christmas reset, we can’t wait to see where we go next!
