There's a detail about kids that nobody puts in the business plan: the years they actually want you around are the exact years you're building.
Max is sprinting at a 2033 exit with two children under four. Sean's watched his stepdaughter go from eight to thirteen - and watched the daddy-obsession phase vanish on schedule. So he asked the question every founder parent dodges: what if the money arrives after the moment has gone?
Max's answer isn't a slogan, it's a timetable. Gym before dawn so the mornings belong to his kids. Out of the office at five, every day, for two hours that don't move. Bath time untouchable since the day each of them was born. Work exists in the gaps - never the other way round.
Agree with the ten-year sprint or not, the discipline is hard to argue with.
