Them Design

Them Design We are a collective of designers, print, brand, social media obsessives, planners and copywriters who love delivering the best creative solutions possible.

Specialist graphic design support for commercial architects, developers and interior designers. Creativity, added

With original and engaging design, we tell brand stories with clarity and creativity. But it’s not creativity in a silo. With great sensitivity to brand tone and volume, our goal is to complement and then enhance your architectural vision. Projects, completed

Creativity alone is not

enough in this game. You need to be able to rely on us to get the job done. You can. We’re skilled at turning creative ideas into bricks and mortar reality. That means beautiful visuals, finished beautifully. Problems, solved

So what if things don’t go to plan? We figure it out. We’re reactive, nimble and resilient (not to mention, thick-skinned). So if the client throws a curve ball, we figure it out. If the budget unexpectedly shrinks, we figure it out. If a deadline gets moved, we figure it out.

What makes a workplace genuinely support people's wellbeing? 🌿

For National Wellness Month, we're taking a closer look at 11 Belgrave Road and the role thoughtful design can play in creating a better workplace experience.

In Episode 07 of That Workplace Experience Podcast, Lewis Benmore, Associate at Eric Parry Architects, talks with Dan Moscrop about the thinking behind the project.

The building transformed a tired post-war workplace into a calm, contemporary space with a strong sense of place, while 37% of the existing structure was retained to help reduce embodied carbon.

Wellbeing was considered alongside sustainability from the outset.

A hidden garden and rooftop landscape bring nature into the experience. Sightlines encourage people to move through the building and towards the garden. Flexible amenities support different ways of working, while hospitality-led thinking helps the workplace feel welcoming and intuitive.

Even the journey to work has been considered, with welcoming cycle entrances and a focus on how the building contributes to the surrounding streetscape and community.

Because good workplace wellbeing isn't simply about adding more amenities. It comes from thinking about the complete experience, from arrival and movement to nature, connection, flexibility and those moments when you need to step away.

What makes a workplace feel like it belongs to the people who use it? 🎨

Sometimes, it starts with art.

Artwork can do much more than bring colour to a space. It can tell stories, spark conversations and create moments that people connect with.

Thoughtfully curated or commissioned pieces can reflect a company's culture, celebrate the people and communities around it, and give a workplace a sense of identity that feels unique.

These details can make a space more meaningful, and give people another reason to connect with it.

At THEM, we use brand, art, wayfinding and installation to transform the workplace experience.

Should workplace wellness be more visible?

At Chancery House, dMFK and FORA created visual connections between the offices, courtyard gardens and gym, making movement and wellbeing part of people's everyday experience of the building.

It's an approach we've seen at another FORA workspace too. At The Jellicoe, Universal Design Studio also considered wellbeing from the beginning.

Perhaps there's a pattern here.

When clients and architects share an ambition to improve how people feel at work, wellbeing becomes much more than an amenity.

Sometimes you walk into a workplace and just breathe.

For National Wellness Month, we've asked our Founder, Dan Moscrop, to share some of the workplaces that have made him think differently about wellbeing over the last year of recording That Workplace Experience Podcast.

First up is The Jellicoe, designed by Universal Design Studio for Fora.

Its timber-lined wellness room, natural materials and thoughtfully designed quiet spaces show how wellbeing can be considered as part of the workplace from day one.

Take a look through the images to find out why Dan chose it, then catch Episode 01 of That Workplace Experience Podcast to see more of the building.

Some of the best ideas happen in moments like these.

Gathered around a screen, surrounded by samples and talking through the next step of a project in our Shoreditch studio.

Creating great workplace experiences is a collaborative process. Every conversation helps shape spaces that reflect an organisation's culture, support its people and bring its purpose to life.

Here's a little behind the scenes glimpse of our team doing what they do best.

When the signage seamlessly blends into the architecture, you almost forget it's there—and that's exactly the point.

Designed in collaboration with Basha-Franklin for Supergroup's workplace, our interchangeable typographic discs slide in and out with ease, allowing menus to be updated effortlessly while maintaining a clean, considered aesthetic that's fully integrated into the space.

Design that works hard without demanding attention.

🎙️ Guest Spotlight: Carl Turner, Founder of Turner Works

As we near the end of Series One of That Workplace Experience Podcast, we're looking back at some of our favourite conversations.

In Episode 08, Carl Turner takes us to Hackney Bridge to explore how temporary architecture can have a lasting impact. From creating affordable workspaces to designing places that evolve with their communities, Carl shares why flexibility is one of the most valuable tools in workplace design.

One quote that's stayed with us:

"The best spaces are the ones that people are allowed to shape themselves."

Watch the full episode to discover the story behind Hackney Bridge and hear Carl's thoughts on the future of adaptable, people-first places.

The workplace is changing—and so are the conversations around it.

This carousel shares a few moments from our discussion with Nick Shackleton-Jones in Bonus Episode 09 of That Workplace Experience, where we explore the thinking behind return-to-office, workplace culture and why people choose to come together.

It's one of 11 conversations we've had with some of the industry's leading voices, including guests from British Land, Gensler, FORA, Carl Turner Architects and We Make Progress.

Together, they've shared ideas, challenged assumptions and explored how thoughtful design and workplace strategy can create places where people and businesses thrive.

If you've missed any of the series, now's the perfect time to catch up.

Re-thinking your workplace? Start here.

A workplace should be more than somewhere people go to work.

It should tell your story.

At THEM, we help organisations uncover what makes them unique and translate that into the built environment. The result is a workplace that reflects your brand, celebrates your culture and gives people something to connect with every day.

Because great workplaces don't start with graphics.

Great design doesn’t happen in isolation.

With Amalgam, this was a fully integrated process, from idea to installation.

We explored form through physical models, refined the relationship with the space, and developed a sculptural language rooted in the brand.

Every decision was collaborative.
Every detail intentional.

Because the best ideas are built together.
