Last week, we celebrated Galette des Rois at with some of London’s most inspiring chefs and food lovers.

For , beyond this beautiful French tradition, the annual Galette des Rois party is a celebration of heritage, warmth, and the joy of sharing something truly special with friends and the Hélène Darroze at The Connaught family. BiBi’s wine pairings are each inspired by one of Chet’s grandfathers: Baldev - impossible to pin down, having travelled the country and lived by his own rules - and Ved, more classical, who never left the house without his three-piece suit. Each pairing reflects these two men and their distinct approaches to life.

In addition, Head of Beverage Wilem Powell creates bespoke pairings for special events, from the BiBi & Friends dinners to the restaurant’s first New Year’s Eve celebration. For the latter, he also curated a special Champagne pairing: six wines from the Champagne region, all different in style, yet each perfectly matched to the chef’s selection of dishes.

“We included some rare bottles, Salon and Selosse, the kinds of wines you rarely even see on lists, let alone poured freely as part of a pairing. It was incredibly fun for the team to try them and made for a delicious night for our guests.”

Located at the front of Legado, the Taberna is inspired by the classic bars of Spain, making it the perfect spot for a couple of drinks and a selection of delicious small plates with pink tiles, scalloped ceilings, and handwritten blackboard menus setting the scene.

A dedicated menu celebrates the classics like Pan con Tomate, Mojama & Almonds, alongside bolder bites like Champiñones & Prawn Pintxo and the Ox Tongue Burger.

From the beginning, the AngloThai wine program has been designed alongside Newcomer Wines and Modal Wines, champions of Austria’s most progressive and biodynamic producers, making Austrian wine integral to the AngloThai story.

New year, new ritual.

This month, staying in is the new going out. Close friends, exceptional caviar, and a quiet evening that doesn’t need much - just , a chilled bergamot spritz or cucumber & mint and the kind of conversation that only happens when you’re not rushing anywhere.

Hosting doesn’t need to be complicated after an indulgent festive season. It just needs to be intentional. Soft music, nowhere to be but here and a moment to recalibrate with the people who matter most.

As the new year begins, , now open on Holland Park Avenue, will serve £1 half pints with any ramen, including the signature classic shio ramen for £10.

Backed by the .nottinghill team, the Robin’s Ramen residency is led by Head Chef . The menu draws on the same producers and focuses on comforting bowls, including a chicken shio ramen with chashu pork belly and ajitama, alongside duck ramen with duck wonton, confit leeks and yuzu, beef ramen with braised tongue and chilli oil, and a beef mazesoba. A weekly special ramen will showcase standout ingredients from Supermarket of Dreams.

The £1 beer-with-ramen offer will run throughout January, with Robin’s Ramen at Supermarket of Dreams operating until 31st of March.
