ABOUT US:
We are FlyerBox, we are one of the leading flyer distribution companies in London and Surrey. We pride ourselves on being young, forward thinking and ‘tech savvy’.
Using the latest GPS tracking technology, we work with clients to promote their companies by creating maps targeting specific areas to distribute flyers, in the aid of increasing their company clientele.
We work with local business right through to larger companies such as Estate Agents, Popular Restaurants and Local Schools. The goal is simple; set teams out into a targeted area with a GPS tracker and a map, to post flyers to each household in the area. This data can then be shared with our clients to demonstrate the area(s) covered on any given shift.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Ideally you will be easy going, flexible and hard working. No experience is required for this role as full training will be provided, we do however ask that you have an open mind, are approachable and are confident enough to lead a team. We do not advise you to apply if you are not confident using technology or do not have your own car.
Living close to Twickenham is preferable but not essential. This is the office you’ll be based from.
YOUR ROLE:
Once established, the role itself will pretty much be based off your organisation and communication skills. Shifts usually run from 07:30 - 13:30, Monday to Friday (weekends off) times do vary slightly dependant on location. You’ll be working 32-34 hours per week.
We cover Zones 1-6 of London as well as Surrey so ideally you would need to live around South/South West London, feel free to apply if you live further afield however please factor in your own fuel costs.
Here is what your role will look like on a day to day basis:
You will need to pick up the days flyers and maps from our office/storage locations which is based in Twickenham.
Drive to the assigned location/meeting point to meet the team
Assign each pair/individual their maps giving them a bag, high visibility jacket, flyers, pen and a tracker
Brief the team on any notes for the day such as ‘no flats’ or specific details about the shift
Monitor the staff throughout the day using our tracking software as well as topping the team up with more flyers throughout the shift
At the end of the shift, you will pick each team up and drive them back to the starting point.
You will be responsible for on average 6 team members (3 pairs) per shift. At the end of your shift you are free to leave.
WAGES:
You will be contracted to £60 per shift Mon-Fri which is inclusive of fuel. If a location is further out from our usual coverage zones, we will contribute extra towards your fuel, this will be assigned based on our zone to fuel map which will be provided to you with your contract.
Wages are paid bi-weekly on a Friday, this will be transferred directly to your bank account.
Please note you will be contracted on behalf of FlyerBox Limited, therefore you will be Self Employed meaning you will be responsible for your own Tax and National Insurance contributions at the end of each tax year.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– You must own your own car that can legally transport 4 passengers
– Hold a clean full UK driving licence for at least 1 year
– Experience in the leaflet distribution industry is favourable but not necessary
– Supervisory/Team Leader experience would be an advantage
– A good understanding of navigation skills
– Professional and positive attitude
– Good communication skills
- Basic technology skills, specifically mobile phones
– Great organisational skills to adhere to your daily tasks to ensure the client gets the best from their campaign
– Be available to start immediately
COVID-19:
We supply all our supervisors with disinfectant wipes and spray to clean their cars after each shift. All team members travelling inside your car must sanitise before they get in your vehicle and wear a mask/face covering until they leave your car.
During this time we have been trying to limit passenger transportation where possible but due to some locations we cannot avoid this.
