Everybody likes prizes and savings.

Congratulations to Tiles & Trims traders who accumulated filled cards, were entered into them monthly draw and have gained free instore spends.

Congratulations to Ken Rowlands who won £200 in this month's TC100 draw and Scott Bennett of SB-Tiling who won £50. As a bonus both winners will also receive a little something dontated by Tiles & Trims. A big thank you to all of our loyal Tilers Community Group trade account customers!

1st April 2026 saw the release of a new scheme and support package for Independent stores.

Loyalty cards for monthly prizes, competitions and exclusive product ranges alongside some exclusive training days.

Independent stores gain access to a full support package including branding from Tilers community group, alongside initiatives and exclusives assisting them to offer a bespoke service for in a national networked model.

Individual stores linked together offering a national model with unique bespoke independence.

When many years of experience in retail across regions and sectors teams up with the largest trade representation for tiler fixers, the group of independants raise a huge concern for medium and national retailers.

An exclusive training day for tilers community members was held yesterday.

Arranged, organised and hosted by UltraTile in Exeter held at Clay & Rock - Tile and Bathroom Showrooms including a factory tour and hand painting experience at Original Style.

An extremely unique day that covered manufacturing of tiles, design of tiles, slip resistance and tile details all the way through to installation of tiles and epoxy grouts.

An experience that will not be forgotten for all of those fortunate enough to secure a place on this day.

Thank you to UltraTile for continuously bringing these events free of charge for our members.

Alongside visiting the bespoke tile manufacturing process members have gained lots of knowledge and first hand experience of fine British manufacturing to the highest of quality control that we’ve seen.

Today marks 5 years since the start of Tilers Community Group

We set out with a blank canvas in the industry 5 years ago with three main goals.

Increase free training opportunities,

Increase engagement between manufacturers and tilers splitting what felt like a dividing line between them,

Encourage companies to invest into the future and present tilers through education and technical back up,

It’s been a busy 5 years and our goals remain the same with some new additions to them.

Thank you to all the members who all play a huge part in the group, supporting, giving ideas and many more things that all contribute to the group.

A huge thank you to all companies who support what we do and believe in supporting you too.

Together we have altered the industry completely and achieved the goals we set to do.

We can’t and won’t work with every company if they don’t align with what we feel is right. Warranties, technical and products etc.

But we will always do everything we can to improve for Tilers and end consumers receiving a tiling service.

This is just the beginning for the group as we look forward to maintaining our original goals and implementing new targets whilst improving the industry for all.
