Our thoughts have been with the impacted residents, communities and first responders affected by the Los Angeles wildfires in recent weeks. Californians have showcased their extraordinary resilience and unity, rallying together to support the city that has long been a symbol of inspiration and the beating heart of the state's tourism ❤️
Visit California have been working with partners on the ground to support Los Angeles in the immediate term, as well as on its road to recovery. Tourism plays an important role in supporting the many residents whose lives and livelihoods have been severely affected by the fires. Fortunately, more than 98 percent of Los Angeles remains unaffected by wildfires. The city’s iconic sites and experiences—the Hollywood Sign, Universal Studios Hollywood, the Santa Monica Pier and many more—remain intact and are accessible to visitors from around the world. Visitors are encouraged to support local restaurants, hotels and other businesses that depend on the city’s normally thriving tourism economy. The City of Angels welcomes them with open arms ❤️
