HEARTWIRED: This album ended up with two cover choices, Positive’s preference eyes open, and mine, eyes closed. I was chasing introspective and self evaluative, while he wanted expression. So this is my director’s cut if you will. 😉 I actually made the wired lit heart the moment he described the title to me. No photoshop here. We made this!!! 👊🏽 But more on that in another post. For now, please read an except of his thoughts behind the album title. We need to be Heartwired now more than ever.🖤

It's an honour to be selected as a judge in Trinidad & Tobago Photographic Society's National Photographic Awards + Exhibition. I feel short alongside giants like renowned architect, Brian Lewis 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 who i'm a fan of, Maria Nunes whose photography and book I love and others with heaps of credentials but here I am ready to do a great job.

The photography competition is open to all residents and nationals of T&T🇹🇹. I know there are quite a few photographers and photography enthusiasts following me so doh stick, there are prizes including $4000💰 up for grabs.😁 Their purpose is to celebrate and share photography across Trinidad & Tobago, as well as to give photographers a much needed friendly but competitive platform for pushing their creative talents.

Visual Strategist and Graphic Designer Christophe Pierre is certain to bring his full creative talent to bear as part of our judging panel.

While we were on an anniversary break, I had some clients who had specific needs that overlapped with our vacation. I did what I always do. I got up at 5am each morning and did four hours of work, then spent the rest of the day wilding out in Tobago with Shaz. It got me thinking about the life of an entrepreneur and how we even got to this point.

I dislike the phrase good things come to this who wait, but I am also not a fan of this hustle and grind hard mentality. I see both concepts as open ended. I am not even sure if I still like the word ‘hard’ in relation to work. So this is me digging into what work is to me for those who care.

What's in a name?
I love it when a client comes to me with a name that automatically paints pictures in my mind. Incredible People is a human resource company that emerged from the oil and gas and safety market. I pictured dotted 'i's and crossed 't's, ticked checkboxes, and individuals that are no less than superheroes in a field where mistakes can cost lives but speed is critical. This brand mark is a visual representation of all those thoughts.

We could all use a little bit more grace right now in the way we communicate with each other allowing space for disagreements, offence, mistakes, etc. We should be a safe space for others, much like God is for us. When Adanna Leonce came to me with her private primary school concept, I remembered an idea I had done in part a few years ago.

An ark, the ultimate symbol of safety in this storm we are currently living in, and, using the least amount of lines to communicate that thought. I perfected it and included it in the options I sent her. She fell in love with it. She is a gentle, graceful person and embodies this brand, and I would expect nothing less from her school.
