This second delivery concludes an important transaction and builds on a partnership that began in December 2025 with the delivery of the first aircraft. The announcement highlights ABL Aviation’s growing capability to deliver tailored aircraft leasing solutions for airlines around the world.

Some brilliant news from , with whom we’ve recently begun working.

ABL Aviation has just completed the fifteenth and final A220-300 delivery to , wrapping up a long-term 15-aircraft mandate. The MSN 55393 Aircraft will be in service to advance Air France’s ongoing fleet renewal. This investment is helping the airline improve efficiency, reduce emissions and provide calmer, more comfortable passenger experiences.

Last night we celebrated the London launch of Words I Owe by , Chairperson of Pegasus Airlines and former IATA Chair of the Board.

Platin Business Award Winner for Best Autobiography of the Year 2025, the book sparked powerful conversations about leadership, resilience and what it really takes to navigate a 36-year career across Türkiye’s most influential sectors.

We were also delighted to welcome official guests from the Turkish Consulate General and the cultural, information and education offices of Türkiye and the TRNC.

It was a busy night for media too, with an array of guests and interviews from our friends at CNBC-e, Air Cargo Week, and British-Yaşam TV.

A busy start to the month at the AGM & World Air Transport Summit in New Delhi this week.
Highlights include IATA Director General Willie Walsh’s opening speech which touched on the following points:
✈️ Safety in the airline industry requires ‘the effective sharing of information to keep civil aircraft safe and secure as conflict zones proliferate.’
✈️ Affordable airline travel needs greater aircraft capacity with a delivery backlog of 17,000 & increased digitalisation for greater efficiency – ‘it’s time to go global with Digital ID.’
✈️ IATA members’ pledge to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050 calls for ‘greater efficiency and carbon-reducing technologies to market fast’ including governments’ failure to create supportive policy frameworks to meet their 2030 interim target of 5% emissions.
✈️ Profitability versus value - this year airlines will make a $36 billion profit - supporting jobs for 86.5 million people - yet this equates to a net margin of a mere 3.7% or $7.20 net profit per passenger.
We organised interviews for Pegasus CEO, - Güliz Öztürk – with trade publications and Guy Johnson, where they discussed strong summer bookings, hedging and the volatility of fuel prices plus Pegasus’ Airbus and Boeing duel-fleet strategy.

🌍 What does the future of global mobility look like?

We’re just back from a fascinating few days at the World Economy Summit in Washington D.C., where this question — along with growth, AI-powered innovation, and connectivity — took centre stage.

Across discussions with 200+ top business and political leaders, including UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves, Germany’s Federal Minister of Finance, Jörg Kukies, and Netflix CEO, Ted Sarandos, one message came through loud and clear:

➡️ In today’s uncertain world, growth and resilience depend on bold action, fresh thinking, and more - not less - global collaboration.

✈️ We were proud to support Pegasus Airlines CEO Güliz Öztürk, who spoke powerfully on the future of flying sustainability, and inclusive leadership: "As long as you have an inclusive leadership style and are open to new ideas, that brings innovation to the company."
