Designed to be playful, the art direction used the tactility of different shapes and textures along with a series of super satisfying interactions to create an ident which gave a moment to lose yourself in.
During the height of the invasion, Suspilne made a decision to prioritise their light
entertainment channel, Kultura in aid of moral support for Ukrainian families under the stresses of war.
Our extensive strategy, devised with sister agency PsLondon, was divined from the principals of self-determination, clarity, transparency, perpetual motion and progress - which informed and underpinned the ensuing principals of all the work we made. We already knew this was a once in a lifetime project with a nation who’s history of self-determination was humbling.
Work-wise, post-invasion, everything pivoted to be about news - getting the news out, show the world, avoid fake news, digitally integrated truth. We could not get involved in the clients’ news making, but we could realign our scope of branding works to help THEM make this easier.
We had been on this true, streamlined integration for a while but it was about to be tested in the harshest and most tragic of circumstances at the highest stakes - War.
